Butler Trust accolade for probation employee
We're delighted to announce Ben Allenguen an Education, Training and Employment Coach at Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company (KSS CRC), part of the Seetec Group, has won a prestigious Butler Trust certificate for his work with homeless and unemployed offenders.
Ben is one of only 50 people nationwide the Butler Trust has decided to award a certificate to this year. The Butler Trust recognises the finest UK probation, prison and criminal justice staff.
He set up an offender support scheme which distributes welfare packs and food parcels to ex-prisoners returning to Brighton homeless after leaving custody. He has also helped hundreds of service users into jobs.
Ben said: “I am very honoured to receive a Butler Trust certificate. It is nice to have recognition for the passion and care I put into my practice to support my clients to improve their lives.”
Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company's Chief Executive Suki Binning said: “Ben richly deserves this certificate which is a reflection of the consistently positive outcomes he achieves and his role as a fantastic ambassador for probation services.”
A Butler Trust representative will present Ben with his certificate in February at a special event.
