The Apprenticeship Levy: Differences Between On-The-Job and Off-The-Job Training
Many employers are using apprenticeship training to boost their workforce skills. But there is still some confusion around the two methods of learning; on-the-job and off-the-job training.
On-the-job training provides the learner with training in the workplace and the learner will produce evidence whilst learning. Whereas off-the-job training requires the learner to spend a certain number of hours away from the work environment, giving them the opportunity to learn in groups and meet other individuals.
