New Head of Policy and Communications for Seetec Group

Seetec Group, the UK’s largest employee-owned provider of justice, employability and skills services, today announces the appointment of Joel Charles as Seetec Group head of policy, communications and public affairs.

Joel brings over 10 years’ experience working with Ministers, Parliamentarians and partners in the private and public sector, developing and executing policy that drives improvements in the lives of people, businesses and communities across the UK.

Joel takes up his position immediately and will report to Seetec’s Chief Executive Officer, Ian Porée.

Joel has broad experience in public affairs and communications, championing the rights of those who feel forgotten or isolated. This has included advocating for more businesses to employ people with a disability and campaigning for the greater use of healthcare data to improve outcomes. Joel was instrumental in launching the Power 100, Britain’s first ever list of the most influential people with a disability or impairment.

Commenting on the appointment, Ian Porée, Seetec Chief Executive Officer, said:
