Outsource Training and BIFA (British International Freight Association) are holding a free apprenticeship seminar for logistics, transport and freight businesses.

Thursday 22nd November

13.30 arrival for a 14.00 start

Belfast Castle, Antrim Road, Belfast, BT15 5GR Northern Ireland. 

The seminar will explain apprenticeships and how you can make them work for your business, covering:

  • How apprenticeships work in practice and how they can impact your business
  • How apprenticeships can support and provide business solutions to your workforce planning and people development strategy
  • How to use apprenticeships to enable talent and succession planning.
  • An exploration of the frameworks available in Northern Ireland

Nicholay Hay, Director of Outsource training (part of the Seetec group) has worked in the industry for over 20 years.  With extensive experience of the logistics sector and a widely respected reputation, Nichola has worked with DB Schenker, Panalpina and Global Forwarding to name a few.

Julie Gorman, Operations Manager for Apprenticeships Seetec will explain how apprenticeship funding works in Northern Ireland and how it can support apprenticeships.

Carl Hobbis, Training Development Manager at BIFA will speak about how your organisation can continue to professionalise the industry, raise the profile of the sector and encourage young people to look at career opportunities in the sector.
