Seetec launches Partnership process for Work Programme

On the 12th of May 2010, the Coalition Government set out a number of major Welfare to Work reforms, including a core, integrated Welfare to Work programme and a number of measures designed to support people to find employment.

In June, the Government set out initial plans for the implementation of the Work Programme which will provide a revitalised approach with a greater level of freedom to suppliers such as Seetec to give people the support they need to help people into long-term, sustainable employment.

The Department for Work and Pensions has now launched the tender competition for the Framework for the Provision of Employment Related Support Services. (Further information can be accessed here: http://www.dwp.gov.uk/supplying-dwp/what-we-buy/welfare-to-work-services/framework-for-the-provision/ )

Seetec intends to bid to join the framework in 7 geographical areas:

o             East of England

o             South West

o             West Midlands

o             East Midlands

o             London

o             South East

o             North West

Seetec is launching its partnership process to enable us to identify partners for the Work Programme and other call-off contracts that will be procured under the Framework. Our Expression of Interest is available for download from our Partnership Opportunities page here.
