On the 12th of May 2010, the Coalition
Government set out a number of major Welfare to Work reforms,
including a core, integrated Welfare to Work programme and a number
of measures designed to support people to find
employment.
In June, the Government set out initial plans
for the implementation of the Work Programme which will provide a
revitalised approach with a greater level of freedom to suppliers
such as Seetec to give people the support they need to help people
into long-term, sustainable employment.
The Department for Work and Pensions has now
launched the tender competition for the Framework for the Provision
of Employment Related Support Services. (Further information can be

Seetec intends to bid to join the framework in
7 geographical areas:
