Seetec were delighted by the turnout at their job fair held on
16
th March in their Lewisham centre. Seetec is one of
the UK's leading Government Funded training providers with 25 years
experience of delivering Welfare to Work Programmes and in helping
people back into work. Seetec has a network of over 70 employment
and training centres across the UK delivering a range of Department
for Work and Pensions, Learning and Skills Council and European
Social Fund contracts.
The event was attended by local employers all
wanting to discuss employment and training opportunities with over
230 job seekers that attended on the day. The fair gave job seekers
the chance to meet employers face to face and discuss job vacancies
and career opportunities.

said “the aim of the event was to bring local employers to the
centre to meet our customers who are seeking employment. We were
really pleased with the positive response with customers being
interviewed on the day by employers for vacancies and many
interviews were arranged for after the event. It gave both
employers and customers a chance to meet face to face and learn
more about each other. We are already planning our next event!”
Seetec Lewisham works closely with other
Seetec centres in Bexleyheath, Croydon and Bromley offering
Opportunities London, a programme for all people out of work in the
area in addition to Train to Gain and Apprenticeship
programmes. Collectively, these programmes delivered by
Seetec ensure both customers and employers receive the best
possible employment and training service.
