Train for Your Future or Learning Agreement Pilot (LAP)

Overview

Train for Your Future is a training programme designed to increase the skills of staff. The scheme enables young people without any recognised qualifications to up-skill to level 1 and beyond by offering them quality training.

Eligibility

All employees working in Essex.

Ages 16 - 17

Does not have any qualification

6 - 9 months

Aims

The overall aim of Train for Your Future is to improve the level of skills of individual members of staff, thereby increasing the company's productivity, improving profitability and motivating employees.

Key Objectives

For employees to gain an NVQ at level 1 or equivalent
To contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the employer's work environment
To improve literacy, numeracy and language skills in an employer's workplace
