Overview
 
Train to Gain is a training programme designed to increase the skills of staff. The scheme enables businesses to up-skill their workforces to level 2 through quality training, leading to recognised qualifications
Eligibility
 
All employees working in East London
and Essex.
Age: 25+
Does not have any level 2 qualification or
5 x GCSEs at grades A-C
Duration

 

6 - 9 months

Aims

 

The overall aim of Train to Gain is to improve the level of skills of individual members of staff, thereby increasing the company's productivity, improving profitability and motivating employees.

 Key Objectives

 

  • For employees to gain an NVQ at level 2 or equivalent
  • To contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the employer's work environment
  • To improve literacy, numeracy and language skills in an employer's workplace
