This programme delivers various activities which
are flexible so that they meet individual needs and lead
to approved basic skills qualifications. Literacy, language (ESOL)
and numeracy skills are
delivered in a way that is appropriate to the
individual's circumstances and in the context of jobsearch,
interview, presentation, time-management and other skills that
employers seek.
Whilst taking part in Skills for Life, participants might
receive: their existing benefits, an additional training
premium and help with travel and childcare costs.
