Seetec provides 5 main categories of Welfare to
Work programmes:
New Deal
The New Deal programmes give people aged 18 to pension age on
benefits, the help and support they need to move into work,
including training and job preparation. We deliver a wide range of
New Deal programmes throughout Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk,
Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, South London, East
London and Hackney.
A voluntary programme providing jobseekers with individually
tailored help and advice on jobsearch, job opportunities and
offering a wide range of training modules that support job
seeking.
JMA examines the steps that customers
have taken to find work over the previous 6 months;
help them identify why they have not found work and how they might
re-focus their efforts; and to re-invigorate their job-finding
activity where needed.
Skills for Life seeks to encourage and support
all adults in improving their literacy, language and numeracy
skills to a level which will allow them to undertake a
significant range of varied work activities, performed in a variety
of contexts.
A voluntary part time support programme for
Lone Parents who would like to gain manageable employment. Offers
parents the opportunity to overcome barriers to work through a
variety of modules from concerns about working through to
confidence building, improving and learning new skills.
