Arkiver
Seetec's solution to document management for GP
Practices is called Arkiver.
For a practice looking to be paper-lite, or even
paperless, Arkiver is the ideal solution.
Arkiver comes with a raft of features. Of course the most
important part of document management is being able to scan all
incoming documents and file them in a fast and efficient way.
Arkiver handles this deftly, allowing documents to be scanned in
bulk, then handled either immediately or held in a temporary area
for filing at a later time.
When filing documents of patients, users again have a
number of options to store data with the document. Files can be
sorted into groups and key descriptions given, allowing easy
retrieval when viewing patients' medical records. Read codes can
also be assigned to the patient at this point.
For each set of documents linked to a patient, the system will
generate encounter records, treating the files as just another
event that has happened to the patient. This has numerous
advantages, such as full searching ability on data stored in the
document encounter.
Another feature is assigning follow-ups to documents stored
against the patient. These can be set when linking files to
patients, indicating to clinician's further work that may be
required. These follow-ups can be tracked to ensure all work is
done, who completed the work and when.
This gives users of Arkiver an ability to manage patient
documents from the moment they enter the surgery (either by paper
or electronically), through linking to patients' medical records,
through to managing care for the patient based on this
information.
So to summarise, Arkiver is a fully integrated document
management module for GP Enterprise, an essential addition for
practices large or small dealing with vast amounts of patients'
paperwork.
