GP Enterprise is our primary care
solution for GP Practices. It has now been available for 4 years,
and is now used in all of our customer's practices. Replacing GP
Professional, our former DOS-based GP System, GP Enterprise is a
full 32-bit Windows application. Taking our many years of
experience when developing GP Enterprise, we have built a product
that is intuitive, flexible and effective but above all
else reliable.
Features
We place great emphasis on ensuring data entry
is intuitive and adaptable to suit individual styles of working.
For this reason, all data entry and data viewing sections can be
tailored for individual practices and users alike. Templates and
Protocols can be set up at a PCT or Practice level to allow you to
store key clinical data on how your clinicians work. Templates are
also supplied to ensure all coded data stored is GMS Contract
compatible so you're earning your points at the same time you're
recording key medical information.
All the other usual features you would expect
to see are available. This includes a full prescribing module,
(using the Multilex drug database), a recall module, a consulting
module (which incorporates protocols for fast data entry), GMS
Contract module, patient referrals, registration features and a
full encounter-based medical section for all patients. It
also includes key summary views to build patient summaries,
vital for today's GMS Contract.
Reporting
Using the power of a Linux database server and
SQL-based database engine, GP Enterprise reporting is both fast and
flexible. As well as numerous recall and claim reports in the
system, there are also two main reporting modules. NSF Reporting
can be used for speed to quickly identify patient disease groups,
ongoing list counts, target patient lists and PCT requirements. The
general (ad-hoc) reporting takes this one step further, introducing
more complex reporting elements such as excluding reports and
advanced report displays/print-outs.
Coding
GP Enterprise fully uses Clinical Terms
Version 3 (Read 3). This gives the system numerous reporting
benefits, consulting benefits such as site and subject diagnosis
and fully supports all GMS contract and MIQUEST requirements. It
also provides a perfect stepping-stone to SNOMED, the new coding
classification system the National data spine will be using in the
near future, and therefore the system that you will
be using.
Additional Modules
GP Enterprise also has a number of additional
modules, all fully integrated, to aid users with their day-to-day
workings. Decision support modules, such as DXS and PRODIGY give
the latest guidance on patient treatment based on read coding and
prescribing, selected by the user. This can include patient
information leaflets, which can be issued immediately to the
patient. Arkiver is our document management system, offering
practices many features such as: scanning documents, attaching text
and codes to patients when linking documents to them and follow-up
management. This gives practices a perfect paper-lite (or
paper-less) solution.
