The Work Programme offers a flexible
approach to helping you achieve your goals by finding work, it has
been designed to enable its content to be built around you as an
individual and to provide the best possible support to help you
gain, keep and develop your working life.
Seetec will offer the Government's new Work Programme in the
East of England, East London and the North West (including
Manchester, Warrington and Cheshire).
If you are looking for work or would
like to work but feel you would benefit from additional support and
guidance, we are here to help you.
Through the Work Programme, you have our
support, which includes:
- A Personal Adviser
- Tailored support and guidance
- Help to create an effective CV and apply for jobs
- Assistance with improving communication skills
- Confidence, health management, wellbeing, lifestyle and
motivational support
- Advice on successful interview techniques
- A local, relaxed, friendly and fully resourced training
centre
- Specific industry skills training
- Financial assistance with travel and childcare
Plus continuous support for up to 2
years once you are in work.

Once Work Programme has launched you will be able to take advantage
of the many parts of this programme if you are claiming one of the
following benefits, speak to your Jobcentre Plus Adviser about Work
Programme today, we are here to support you every step of the
way.
- Jobseeker's Allowance (18-24 years old, after 6 months of your
claim)
- Jobseeker's Allowance (25+ years old, after 12 months of your
claim)
- Employment Support Allowance (once you are fit for work)
- Incapacity Benefit
- Income Support
The Work Programme is provided by Seetec,
one of the UK's largest employment and skills specialists, working
in partnership with Jobcentre Plus and local partners. The
Work Programme forms a part of the Government's wider plans to
provide comprehensive advice, guidance and support in order to help
'get Britain working'.
