The New Deal programmes are
specifically for people who are unemployed and have been actively
seeking work without success.
Initially the programme addresses the issues
as to why a person can’t find work and provides job search, short
course training, advice and guidance. If they continue to be
unsuccessful in finding work, they will get the opportunity to
boost their skills through high quality education, training and
work experience.
