What is the Mandatory Work Activity Programme?
- A 4 week work placement consisting of 30 hours week
- Helps those who have been out of work for a long time to build
their work related skills
- Each placement is with a local organisation whose work
benefits the community either directly or indirectly
What does it offer?
- A work experience placement with a certificate upon
completion
- A work reference
- A confidence & motivation boost
- Opportunities to improve your work related skills
- Where possible there will be a choice of placements; Admin,
Manual and Retail
- All placements are health and safety assessed
- All candidates receive an induction & guidance
Support and Advice
- Support and guidance from a Seetec Placement Adviser and
customer service centre
Your Jobseeker’s Allowance may be affected if you fail to
complete the MWA programme.
