Mental Health Awareness Week 2017
The 8-14 May is Mental Health Awareness Week and the focus is on exploring how we can cultivate good mental health into our work, digital world, parenting skills and communities.
Seetec is no stranger to working with individuals with mental health issues. We have accrued over 30-year experience in providing mental and physical health advisory services for customers through the delivery of our skills, employment and criminal justices services. Working with people from all walks of life, we assist them to manage their condition, promote healthy living and provide support in their personal development into recovery.
The wellbeing of our employees is also paramount to our success; we invest in the development, health and wellbeing of our employees which is accredited by our Investor in People health and wellbeing award.
With 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health problem in any given year and with only 43% of people willing to talk to their employer about their worries, there is a lot of work to do in society to challenge attitudes and shift behaviour.
Mental health awareness week gives Seetec an opportunity to share information, best practice and resources to help you thrive in life and not just survive.
